BEAUTY AND THE WEATHER.

So it's another beautiful morning and you're on your bed, mad at the blazing sun glaring right at you through the window. For some, a sunny day=a yayey day, but not you!!! All you can think about is how the sun is gonna ruin your make-up way before noon, how you can't let your pretty weave down cos of the heat and of course, how you cannot rock that pretty ASOS blazer as planned!!. You're not alone, we all go through this!
I'm gonna share with you tips on how to stay chic and prim on a MEGA sunny day!

1. SUNSCREEN
Yes!Protection is key. Dab on a moisturizer containing sunscreen, or an actual sunblock after moisturizing to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, and also to prevent re-darkening of the skin. Remember to always opt for sunscreen with SPF 15 or more. I use Clean&Clear morning glow moisturizer with SPF 15. This baby not only protects your skin from the sun, but also brightens up your skin.

2. MAKE-UP
It's always best to keep your make-up minimal on days like this. A routine of just concealer, oil-free foundation, mineral pressed powder, waterproof mascara and eyeliner, and lip conditioner with SPF would be just right for a perfect glow. Also don't forget to move around with blotting sheets so you don't go rubbing off your make-up with your hanky. Trust me, the look after doing that?Totally not the sexiest!!! Blotting sheets it is!Below are some of my sunny day go tos!

3. HAIR

For me, my first point of call on days like this is always a bun or a braid(preferably a fish plait). Whether i have my natural hair, braids or even a weave on, i always opt for a bun. Nothing feels more uncomfortable than having hair all up in your business whilst making your way through a hot day.

4. WHAT TO WEAR
When selecting what to wear, it is always best to go for clothing with materials such as cotton and linen because they are cool, absorbent and permit movement of air from your skin through the fabric. It is also best to stick to light colours such as pastels, beige and white as they reflect light and heat BUT, if you're a heavy sweater i'd advise you to stick to dark colours, specifically black to mask them sweat patches. Also, don't forget to accessorize wisely. Dark sunglasses, a cute fedora, and a light scarf are some basic sunny day essentials.  Below are some cool outfit choices.

5. LE WHIFF!

On days like this,we may tend to perspire a lot more than usual. Using the right deodorant, body mist, perfume and a scented moisturizer would be very helpful. My faves are ~
